SSX has always been a great snowboarding series and it continues its venture on the Wii with SSX Blur. This games controls have a pretty large learning curve and I would say it?s for the very hardest of hardcore gamer. Once you get the controls down everything flows very smoothly however. You move the nunchuck left and right winding down huge mountains and traveling over some beautiful terrain. You can push down the Z button to go faster and flip the Wii remote around to do tricks. Eventually you can do what are called uber tricks where you move the Wii remote in a specific pattern and you can do all kinds of crazy flips and turns.

There are a few minor glitches in the game, sometimes you will get stuck between some rocks but thanks to a push of a button you can realign yourself back on the track at any moment in time so it?s not to much of a problem, but a notable problem non the less.

Considering I?m not much of a fan of EA?s work the last couple of years I was really impressed with this addition to the Wii lineup. I think it?s really good, I can see how the average gamer could find this a bit overwhelming but the fact of the matter is, is that it?s a great game and a definite reason to own a Wii.
